The "C.R.O.S.S." in C.R.O.S.S.FIRE stands for Critical Rescue Operations in Severe Situations.

The C.R.O.S.S.FIRE Commandos rescue civilians caught in the “crossfire” of dangerous situations.

They intercede on behalf of people experiencing oppression, persecution, or injustice.

The C.R.O.S.S.FIRE Commandos are ordinary people who have undergone extraordinary training. To see the Commandos-in-training, click here.

On most missions the C.R.O.S.S.FIRE Commandos use the CF-1 to enter and escape from dangerous locations. To see photos and schematic drawings of the CF-1, click here.

The Commandos do not take sides in battles between different cultures or societies, but sometimes they are required to use non-lethal weaponry to rescue civilians trapped in severe situations. To see some of the non-lethal weaponry, click here.
